About Us

Hello, my name is Dionna Sinclair, I am a qualified dog groomer and the owner of A Dugs Life Pet Spa in Kilmarnock. I have always loved dogs and following the pandemic I decided to follow my dreams and open a Dog Grooming Salon. I trained at The Glasgow Dog Grooming Academy where I obtained my IPET Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming and Salon Management. Additionally, I am trained in Pet First Aid, handling, and pet behaviour.

Our pet spa has been open since November 2021 and after just 10 months of operation we were awarded Best New Business in Ayrshire at the Scottish Business Awards. This prestigious award is a testament to our commitment to providing our customers with the highest quality grooming services. Also in August 2024 from Scotland Business Awards won

I love working with dogs and I prioritise their comfort and wellbeing during every groom by making sure the experience is as stress free as possible. You will always find me on the floor of the pet spa playing with the dogs. I also make time for the dogs to play with toys after or during the groom. The happiness of the dogs is my number one priority. I want the dogs to enjoy their groom and have fun with me. It is incredibly rewarding to see a dog leave happy and it is even more rewarding to see a returning dog excited for their groom.

We use a professional range of products including Milly’s handmade dog grooming products and we sell Burns nutritious dry food. We hand dry each dog with care and love, styling them to customer requirements to suit both dog and owner lifestyle.
